Resurrection operates Little Lambs Preschool as an outreach ministry for families in our community, providing a safe, nurturing environment for children to play, learn, and grow.
Little Lambs Preschool offers a quality, child-centered, activity-based approach to early education. We provide opportunities to develop age-appropriate academic, social and emotional, spiritual and physical skills on a daily basis. Children are encouraged to learn through play and teacher-directed experiences in a positive, structured environment.
Our day consists of active and quiet times; small and large group experiences; and indoor and outdoor play. We use a mixture of High/Scope and Christ Light curriculum, and use many STEM/STEAM activities to promote higher critical thinking and problem solving skills.
In addition to focusing on early childhood education, both our curriculum and our facility promote independence, curiosity, decision making, cooperation, persistence, creativity and problem solving in young children. We also offer before and after care.
