Our babies are getting so big!!! In just a short week, our very hungry caterpillars grew, shed their skin, grew, shed their skin, and repeated this over and over until they finally hung upside down in a j. The next day we came, and they had turned into chrysalises!!! Now we wait for our “bonus baby”–we had a 6th tiny caterpillar grow about 3 days after the other 5. Once he has made his chrysalis we will put all 6 into the butterfly house and wait for them to emerge. Metamorphosis is so exciting!!
